About the Challenge
Heifer Senegal is inviting young agritech innovators to take part in AYuTe Africa Challenge Senegal–a competition that identifies innovative agriculture and technology ideas with the potential to address challenges faced by smallholder farmers in the country.
It is part of the AYuTe Africa Challenge’s national competitions and is open to youth agritech innovators across the country.
Innovations will focus on improving production, productivity, income, access to finance and resilience, with awards provided to standout young agritech innovators through a pitch competition.
The competition builds capacity and provides cash grants to innovators who offer effective solutions adapted to the environmental and socio-cultural challenges facing farmers in Senegal.
Prizes total CFA Franc 12,500,000 in cash awards.
